Some stuff I did at the L.A. Zoo. Quick 20 to 30 second drawings of animals poses and gestures.

Pigeon: Impossible

Pretty good short by this small production crew headed by Lucas Martell. The animation is a little stiff at times but it was enjoyable.

Value Practice

Some random dude I was doodling. It started off as a blob. Not very good but at least it's practice...25 minutes.





I don't know if this is speed painting. Just trying to learn how to look at value. Took me about 2.5 hours. Had to work out some kinks...but it's good practice.

I haven't painted in general for a long time (about 5 years). I guess it's time to get back into it. With work, church and everything else, I find it hard to do anything creative these days. These are not good by any standard. Just some stuff I've been doing while I have free time...all were done in about an hour to 2..
